The goal of this chapter is to give a short view of the dances that are associated with the music
tunes that are on this Web site. According to the dancers point of view, it is rather an
ambitious approach as there are many different ways of notation, and no one is enough for self-learning a dance.
We don't pretend neither knowing all choregrapies for a specific dance, nor giving a standard explanation of the dances, but we only want to share our dancers experience as they learnt during workshops.
The files represent the notes the dancers have taken, and use regularly during the workshops. These files are given as it and only for helping people accessing to this material.
The dance explanations are downloadable PDF files. If you have no PDF reader, you can download a free viewer at the following address: Acrobat Reader .
If you are ready to participate, and want to share your knowledge with others, you help is welcome at MusTradLib as:
- dance explanation, which we will eventualy re-shape if you wish (in any case we will add the standard header).
- Complementary information on existing dances (error, alternative figures).
- Etc.
