My name is Paul Guièze, I was born near Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne, and live now in Seine et Marne near Nangis.
I am a chemist, but music
has always been my passion. I practice it as an amateur and therefore I only see the nice face of the medal.
I started with a harmonica when I was five or six years old, and continued with a trumpet and solfege when I was 18.
I started diatonic accordion by chance, because my wife who animate a traditional dance team was looking for musicians. A friend of mine lent a Honner 2915, then I bought a Saltarelle Bouèbe, then a Castagnari Handry. I sometimes play bombarde and 16" bagpipe from centre of France, for the only pleasure of playing music and experiencing new sounds.
