Les Folkdingues

This is the name of a folklore team that existed for the last 30 years. The members meet every Tuesday in Saintry (Essonne) for dancing on music from all over the world (Balkan countries, Portugal, Israel, Mexico, and more), but also from France.
Friendliness, good mood, diversity in the choice of dances, are the best ingredients to have fun while learning steps, and dancing with pleasure.
Since a few years, we interchange with some English towns in the context of twinning, or friendly meetings with foreign teams. Thus we have the oportunity to dance wearing traditional costumes with our friends from the "Virevolte" team from Fontenailles (in Seine-et-Marne), dances from various provinces of France. These times where cultures are mixing are always unforgetable!
